The Georgiana day dress/nightgown is crafted for the woman who dreams in soft light and lingers in the magic of quiet moments. Featuring a beautifully gathered bust (lined with cups!), delicate tie detail, and billowed sleeves that evoke centuries-old elegance.

Details

Midi-length day/dress nightgown with long blouson sleeves and smocking detail at the bicep, drawstring neckline closure, elasticized empire bodice, fully lined cups and pockets.

This nightgown uses a romantic, vintage-inspired print called "Ophelia's Reverie" featuring Ophelia dreaming in a moonlit pond next to her rowboat and a variety of fragrant flowers. Drawn in a technique inspired by vintage illustrations in antique hardcovers, this print wears very black. Also available in Solid Ivory and in "Romancing the Moon" Sage and Midnight Forest.

Fabric Content

100% Lyocell Voile

Lyocell is an eco-friendly fabric made out of sustainably harvested trees and is the generic name for Tencel. The solvents that are used to break down the wood pulp is recycled repeatedly into the manufacturing process, significantly reducing wastage and pollution than one would find in the making of similar fabrics such as viscose or rayon.

The fabric is digitally printed using fewer pigments and water than used in dyeing, also resulting in less wastage and pollution.

Crafted from a Lyocell voile, this fabric is chosen for its ethereal lightness and breathability—an homage to antique heirloom nightgowns designed for comfort in sleep.

Over time and with washing, the fibers soften beautifully, enhancing the fabric’s fluid drape and delicate hand.

Garment Care

Machine wash (in cold water) and dry on delicate cycles or hang to dry.

This style is available in sizes xsmall to 2X. Below are the body measurements that the style was designed to fit as well as the garment's measurements when laid flat. As we are just starting out, we have a smaller size range which we aim to expand with future recuts and collections.

It is recommended that the bust circumference in the body measurement chart below be followed to determine sizing.

Gorgeous Nightgown

I absolutely love floating around my house in this at nighttime, it's the perfect dress to throw on after a long day. The gown is incredibly comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised with the soft cup padding as well. It is a little sheer when the light hits it, so beware of that if you plan on wearing this out of the house.

Also props to Jane and her hand written note attached to the gorgeous packing. Really felt special opening up this package! I'll definitely be returning as a customer in the future!

Exceptionally beautiful!

I have this in both the Pondwater and Sage prints and actually just ordered in ivory too for when I most want to feel like a Victorian ghost :) this nightgown is beyond gorgeous. I adore the sleeves and the way it moves and the beautiful prints!! This is definitely my favorite silhouette from TBON thus far!
I had a small quality issue with the arm elastic when I first ordered one in January, but Jane was on it and went above and beyond to make things right, and when I got my second nightgown during the April preorders, Jane made sure everything went as smoothly as possible - I cannot thank her enough for her kindness!!
I would definitely go off of your bust in the size chart for fit. If there was one change I would make, it would be to add an inch or two of height to the bust for a little more coverage as while it fits great, it is fairly cleavage-y on me as a 34D who fits in the medium! I know this change was made for the plus sizes, but I would love for it to be done for the straight sizes too so I could wear it on WFH calls without covering up, haha :)

Georgiana is a beauty!

I was unsure I'd be able to pull this gorgeous piece off due my large chest, and ordered two sizes up to maximize the bust coverage.

To my delight, sizing up worked out well! Next, I'll be trying a light layering piece (either the Phaedra or another simple nightgown/slip) to provide a bit more coverage and support, allowing me to wear Georgiana out into the world once in a while.

Till Blush of Night is my new favorite designer-owned brand, and I wouldn't mind having one of every print in this design, and the Phaedra, too. I look forward to adding more pieces to my wardrobe, to wear at home and out into the world.

I can't wait to see what new dreamy prints and pieces TBON debuts, next!

An absolute beauty

I adore this piece. The pattern manages to repeat itself seamlessly without being repetitive, the sleeves are superb, and I adore the drape and shape. I received an emphatic “wowza!” from my husband thanks to the help of the dreamy neckline I’m sure! My only issue for those who have similar needs as I: the chest is on the small side. I’m a 36H and 5’4 and ordered a 1x to accommodate that. As is typical with anything, my bust rarely stays put in any garment without help, so no new surprises there. The cups did come loose which honestly worked well for me and allowed for more room in the bust. I envy those for which this is no issue! I also trust Jane as a designer and cannot wait to see how her designs evolve. As a clumsy person whose bust is often a shelf for food, I appreciate the darker colorway as well!

Almost perfection

First, I feel like an FMC in a romance book. This isn't just pajamas, it's a GOWN. So gorgeous. I did take it down a star because as a member of the big titty club (36G, purchased the XL) I do wish the chest area was a tiny bit wider. I feel like I could spill out of it, which isn't that big of a deal since I only wear it at home. But moving forward I think if you could put a little more fabric for "the girls" in the larger sizes, the fit would be perfection! Still an absolute gorgeous piece. Would love more dark colors as well!
